About
Charmaine Ramstead
MLT, CT, LDHS
Charmaine Ramstead began her career in the traditional medical system as a laboratory technologist. Personal health challenges, unresolved by traditional medical practices, motivated her to explore holistic, natural health alternatives. Convinced that the body has the innate intelligence to heal itself, she started changing her diet, taking supplements, exercising, fasting and taking colonics.
In 1986, Charmaine successfully completed training in colon hydrotherapy. In 1999, she furthered her studies with Dr. Howard Loomis and the Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition. Inspired by his book, Enzymes, The Key To Health, she enrolled in his program and became a Loomis Digestive Health Specialist. She continues to travel to the U.S. twice a year to study with Dr. Loomis. She is passionate about her studies and dedicated to health, knowledge, science and restoring normal function to the stressed body.

LIVE LIFE DRUG FREE
The Center
Nestled in one of Regina's oldest and picturesque neighborhoods, a visit to Charmaine's center is comfortable, clean and relaxing. You will immediately feel at ease and find a calm and serene sense of peace during treatment.
Along with nutrition therapy, colon hydrotherapy, Far Infrared Sauna, as well as carrying Fastech Orthotics, Charmaine uses the Loomis system for recognizing and correcting enzyme deficiencies in the body. Enzyme Specifics is not a retail store; people cannot walk in off the street to buy a bottle of digestive enzymes. That’s what naturopathic doctors and health food stores are for. We do not provide a “one-enzyme-fits-all”, we do the testing to find out what you need and to pinpoint the stress in your body, which eliminates the guesswork.
